Rick Chard

After studying photography and design at Humber College and OCAD, Rick began his career at TDF Artists, a commercial studio in downtown Toronto. From there he decided his interest lay more towards an editorial style and went out on his own as a freelancer.

During this period he worked as an assignment photographer with Maclean’s magazine.

This continued for approximately 10 years. Since then he has worked with numerous magazines and agencies, both in the public and private sector. Recently his assignments have been of a more corporate nature, still with the emphasis on people photography. A number of his personal works are in private collections throughout North America and Europe.
